4 Flooring Specialist Summer 2026A Word from John McHaleDear CFI Members and Industry Colleagues,The first half of the year has been an exciting one for CFI. We%u2019ve expanded training opportunities, strengthened partnerships across the industry, and welcomed new expertise to our Advisory Board to help guide our programs and better serve our members. While the work takes many forms, the goal remains the same: providing flooring professionals with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to succeed.By working with manufacturers, retailers, educators, and other industry partners, we%u2019re able to provide our members with more training opportunities, greater access to technical expertise, and new ways to continue building their skills. Those relationships help keep our programs relevant and ensure our members have the knowledge and resources they need to meet the demands of a changing industry.You%u2019ll see that same spirit on full display at this year%u2019s CFI/FCICA Synergy Convention in Chattanooga. Synergy is more than the name of our convention. It%u2019s what happens when people come together to learn, share ideas, and support one another. Whether you%u2019re interested in handson technical education, new products and installation techniques, or simply spending time with others who care about the trade as much as you do, you%u2019ll find ideas and insights you can put to work right away. Just as valuable are the conversations between sessions, where experiences are shared, challenges are discussed, and lasting professional relationships are built.I hope you%u2019ll join us in Chattanooga this November and stay involved with CFI throughout the year. Attend a training event, earn another certification, connect with your local CFI chapter, and take advantage of the opportunities to learn from others in our industry. The more involved you are, the more you%u2019ll get out of your membership. You%u2019ll also contribute to the future of our profession.Thank you for your continued support of CFI. I look forward to seeing many of you in Chattanooga this November.Warm regards,John McHale Director of Operations, CFI
